Kasha Mitton

Today in the #Amplifriday spotlight, we have a nomination from The Movement Collective YKA for a fellow fitness enthusiast, Kasha Mitton!

The Movement Collective YKA team writes:

We nominate Kasha Mitton to be amplified as she is a selfless community leader, supporting her community and raising continued funds for Duchenne Muscular dystrophy. She is raising awareness for Kamloops to be more inclusive for everyone and bringing the first adaptive bike program to our city. Good luck Kasha!

Thanks for the great nomination!

We love people like Kasha shining bright in the Amplifriday spotlight. Hard working community members doing what they can to go above and beyond to make life better for everyone. Kasha is an Interior Health nurse who has hosted the ‘Hey Jude’ community walk to recognized National AccessAbility Week for years. Her hope is to help the City of Kamloops in their effort to make the municipality one of the most accessible in the country. Kasha’s goal with the adaptive bikes, bikes designed with pedal assist features to allow people with mobility issues to ride, is to help the Kamloops Bike Rider’s Association launch the first-ever kids adaptive biking program to fulfill their vision of more people on bikes.  It’s community members like Kasha who go above and beyond to help make often intimidating challenges things we can all work on together to overcome.

Kasha – you are remarkable person of impact. As is our team at Amplify Consulting Inc.’s commitment, we will donate $100 to a charity of your choice to further amplify both your remarkable impact and the charity’s.
